The sheer number and rapid pace of executive orders issued from the White House were viewed as a calculated strategy to paralyze through overload. This strategy had its intended impact – there was disarray, outrage, and weariness as groups rushed to fill the gap left by a major funding freeze. But this was only the precursor.
The American government has been the central catalyst, bolstered by fervent lobbying efforts by deeply conservative factions seizing the opportunity to solidify transnational relationships with like-minded governments.
The anti-rights movement signifies a transnational grouping of policymakers, doctrinal establishments, and activist outfits as well as ultra-rich backers and donors that work to dismantle forward movement on multiple topics. Areas targeted involve abortion, LGBTQ rights, trans rights, non-traditional family structures and comprehensive sexuality education.

Summits Promoting Conservative Norms
Over the summer, a sequence of gatherings in Africa themed around the traditional family and national sovereignty triggers anxiety among equality campaigners. In the start of May, a national leader and spouse open a major forum to resist what they label overseas agendas corrupting societal morals. A shortly thereafter, another Pan-African conference on family values is held. Both events are attended by leading American and European conservative activists, including leaders of well-known groups. Broader Restrictions on Aid
Bringing back the anti-abortion funding ban, which prohibits Washington's support for groups that provide, advocate for or advise on abortion services overseas, is standard practice for certain US administrations.
